Time has been going by way too fast. Ever since spring semester has started, I feel as if I haven’t had a moment to really catch up to everything that is going on around me (especially time for blogging). Now that my focus has come down a little, I’m hoping my time management will get better and fall back into a nice schedule. Until then, I’m getting ready for a weekend trip to New Orleans!! Packing tomorrow should be interesting.
I think it was when the bottom half of my legs were submerged in a puddle (or quite possibly a small river) walking through campus that I realized one thing and one thing only: I need rain boots. I used to think they were silly and unnecessary for San Diego, but after today I’m definitely going out and buying a pair.
The other night my roommate mentioned happy hour and margaritas…and I immediately thought of some delicious mexican food. Having heard about El Camino, we decided to go check out this restaurant located in South Park of San Diego. We arrived just in time for happy hour and ordered sangaria and margaritas (which were in a glass boots haha). We liked the 60’s art deco style of the place and the trippy virgin mary lights. The food was fresh and I especially liked the three different flavors of salsas that came along with the bowl of chips. A unique, fun place different than most Mexican restaurants in SD. http://www.elcaminosd.com/
